"He follows me": Nauman Ijaz witty response to fans asking if he is channeling Ranveer Singh

Veteran Pakistani actor Nauman Ijaz took to his Instagram handle and shared a photo of himself in a traditional black outfit leading the fans to ask if he was copying Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, known for his extravagant outfits.

The 'Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila' star quipped back in the comments section and replied, “He follows me, dear.”

One of the social users asked him if Ranveer himself had commented on Naumaan’s photo.

The legendary actor replied, “Dear, he’s a busy man, why would he?”

Sharing the picture he captioned:

"Mudateen guzar gaeen hissab nahin keya...
"Na janey kiskay dil mei kitnay reh gaey hum..."

The actor posted the picture in a funny costume once commonly worn by old warriors just to entertain his fans.

His get-up made his fans curious about his upcoming project. A few asked if he was doing any period play, while many inquired if he was doing Sultan Salahaddin Ayyubi.

Well, he replied, “No, they [Turkish producers] don’t want to spend on Pakistani actors”.

Another fan asked, “Hope to see you in Salahaddin Ayyubi?”

To which he wrote, “I refused”.
