Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has waved strong defense and support for co-star and former girlfriend Kangna Ranaut who has harshly been slapped by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) lady at Chandigarh airport.

In case the readers are not aware, the actor-turned-politician Kangana was travelling to Delhi for a meeting a day after her Lok Sabha elections 2024 win from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh when unexpectedly, was hit by a constable on the face for some personal grudges emerged as a result of Kangna’s disrespectful remarks about farmers.

Several celebrities, such as Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher, condemned the attack on Kangana. Now, others including, Alia Bhatt and Hrithik Roshan have also shown their support for Kangana.

On Sunday, journalist Faye D’Souza shared a post on Instagram condemning the slap incident which has been liked by Alia as well as Kangana's alleged ex, actor Hrithik Roshan, and celebs such as Soni Razdan, Zoya Akhtar, Sonakshi Sinha and Arjun Kapoor, among others.

The post read, “With reference to the incident of MP Kangana Ranaut being slapped at an airport, violence can never be the answer. Especially not in our country that was born out of Gandhi’s ideals of non- violence. It doesn’t matter how much we disagree with views and statements made by someone, we cannot react with violence and we should not condone it. It is particularly dangerous when security personnel react violently while in uniform. Imagine, over the last ten years, if those of us who questioned power were assaulted at airports by constables who agreed with that power.”

In case the readers are not aware, Established Bollywood music composer Vishal Dadlani has ensured a job for the CISF lady who slapped Kangna at airport.
