Donkey shot dead over tree-cutting dispute in Rawalpindi

Influential landlords shot and killed a donkey of a farmer in Rawalpindi over a tree-cutting dispute on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per details, forbidding the cutting of trees in the Mukhial area of Chakri in Rawalpindi became a crime for the poor farmer.
At the request of the owner, a case was registered against 11 accused in Chakri police station for killing the pregnant donkey.
Muhammad Nawaz, Saqlain, Safdar, Shakeel, and seven other unidentified persons have been named in the case.
Earlier, a case of animal brutality in Sindh surfaced, the camel was found with all of its four legs amputated. In the Umerkot Tehsil of Sanghar.
Some unidentified individuals cut off the camel's legs and due to excessive bleeding the animal expired.
