Despite the holiday, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi Wednesday visited Gaddafi Stadium to inspect ongoing upgrade work in preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy Tournament.

Chairman Naqvi reviewed the progress of the stadium's renovation and inspected the demolition of offices.

He set a deadline for the demolition to be completed by June 30, instructing officials to increase the number of machinery and workers after the Eid holidays to ensure timely completion.

Naqvi emphasized the importance of deploying additional resources to meet the deadlines and assured that the upgrading of the National Bank Stadium in Karachi and Rawalpindi Stadium would also be completed before the Champions Trophy Tournament.

During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi was briefed by officials from the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), who are overseeing the project. The Chairman's visit underscores PCB's commitment to providing top-notch facilities for the international event.
