Prominent Bollywood Star Kiara Advani, who made a ravishing debut with phenomenal fashion options during the extravagant Cannes Film Festival 2024, has unfortunately received severe backlash for prioritizing a seemingly ‘fake’ accent during an interview session acquiring her precious views for stepping into the festivity.

A video of Kiara Advani's interview from the Cannes surfaced on the discussion platform, Reddit. As soon as the video went viral, netizens rushed to the comment section to pen down their opinions. Reacting to Kiara's video, netizens wondered why the actress used a fake accent to give an interview and compared her to Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. Some other users shared that it's natural and asked others to leave it up to the actress' will. While some users praised Kiara's looks, others disapproved of the same.

Taking to her IG handle, Kiara Advani teased her fans with a monochromatic photo of herself as she was seen standing on a balcony. In several of the photos that surfaced online, Kiara looked stunning in a strapless gown. The dress came along with a pink corset bodice and a flowy bottom in a black hue. The medium trail and a huge bow detailing in pink at the back added a regal touch to her look. With two lacy hand-gloves, Kiara added a final touch to her ensemble.

A dewy base of makeup, including defined eyebrows, soft bronze-hued eyeshadow, mascara-laden eyes, blushy highlighted cheeks, pink glossy lips, and a high bun, added stars to Kiara's look. To amp up her look, Kiara donned a diamond-crusted intertwined necklace with a yellow stone drop. There's no denying the fact that Kiara looked nothing less than a dream as she made her debut at Cannes. Talking about the same, the actress mentioned that she is humbled to be honoured by the Red Sea Film Festival and mentioned that it would be a decade in her career now.

For Day 1 at Cannes, Kiara Advani donned a white-hued satin gown featuring drape patterns. With the dress, the actress chose a pair of classy earrings. A soft touch of makeup and a half-tied hairdo added stars to her look. For the unversed, the outfit was from the shelves of Prabal Gurung and Lakshmi Lehr. For Day 2, the actress slipped into an oranged-hued draped dress from the brand, Alaia, and it was priced at a whopping amount of Rs. 3,10,085.
