Pakistan Navy Saturday conducted an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) near the northern Arabian Sea and successfully thwarted a major drug smuggling attempt, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a press release issued by ISPR, during a Regional Maritime Security Patrol, the naval ship PNS Yarmook intercepted a boat and seized 38-kilogram valuable narcotics which was being transported to a foreign destination through sea.

The seized drugs hold a significant value in the international market, estimated to be worth thousands of dollars.

The press release stated that our ships are regularly deployed on Regional Maritime Security Patrols. These missions are crucial for preventing drug smuggling, maritime piracy, and human trafficking.
