Celebrated star Sonakshi Sinha’s doting father Shatrughan Sinha has seemingly put an end to all the rumours regarding his alleged rift with soon-to-be son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal through posing delightfully with him in front of the media, also assuring her precious presence during the wedding ceremony of daughter.

Sonakshi Sinha is all set to marry her longtime boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal, on June 23, 2024. For the unversed, the couple's pre-wedding functions have already begun with their respective bachelor parties. On June 20, 2024, Sonakshi arrived at Zaheer’s house in Mumbai ahead of their wedding. While rumours were rife that Sonakshi’s family was upset about her sudden wedding plans with Zaheer, her parents put an end to them and joined the couple.

Sonakshi Sinha avoids paps

After the brief meeting at Zaheer's place, Sonakshi was seen stepping out of the building in a white-hued salwar suit. The bride-to-be refused to pose for the paps and rushed towards her car. In a video doing rounds on the internet, as Sonakshi’s car was spotted at Zaheer’s residence, the actress ensured that the paps couldn't take her pictures. She covered her car’s windows with black curtains and also added a bedsheet in the front.

Shatrughan Sinha embraces Zaheer Iqbal in front of the media

After Sonakshi, the paps spotted her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha leaving Zaheer’s residence around midnight. As Shatrughan was exiting the building and making his way towards his car, Zaheer followed him. Upon the paps' request, the veteran actor happily posed with the groom-to-be and also hugged him. Shatrughan jokingly told the paps, “Khamosh” and waved at them before heading towards his car. The duo's photos and videos went viral on the internet as they have finally put an end to all the speculations of their rift.

Earlier, in an interview with Times Now, Shatrughan Sinha opened up about the ongoing buzz around him not attending Sonakshi's wedding. The actor-turned-politician rubbished the speculations, mentioning that he is extremely proud of his daughter and that his happiness lies in her happiness. Confirming his presence at the wedding, Shatrughan said: "Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It's just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I am very proud of and immensely fond of. She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn't I and why won't I? Her happiness is my happiness and vice versa."

Sonakshi Sinha rubbished rumours of moving in with her beau, Zaheer

Earlier, rumours were rife that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been living together for two years now. However, in a recent interview with Galatta India, Sonakshi dismissed the rumours about her moving out of her family home and moving in with her to-be-husband, Zaheer. When the show's host, Nayandeep Rakshit asked her, "Now that you are staying on your own...." the actress immediately interrupted him and asked,

"Who told you that I'm staying on my own? You thought. Yehi hota hai jab people think nah..I still live with my parents. Yeah, I bought a house that's my chill pad. I do my work meetings over there, I do my shoots over there, I get ready for my events over there. And then I do all my work stuffs over there and I go back home and sleep."
