“They serve us gold with roti”: Sara Ali Khan makes hilarious remarks about Ambani’s festivities

Bollywood diva Sara Ali Khan gave hilarious remarks about Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities saying that guests were served with gold along with roti.

Ever since the pictures from Ambanis’ second pre-wedding celebrations have been out, people were curious to know what it was like inside the lavish affair.

When Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan was asked about the wedding she humorously said, “They would serve us gold. Like, with our roti, we were eating gold. I swear, and there were diamonds everywhere.

Further talking about the event Khan stated, “It was a nice, lovely, warm, hospitable event. I have gone to school with Anant and I have known Radhika growing up. It was very warm. The entire Ambani family, Nita Ma’am who was the chairperson of Dhirubai Ambani school, they are so warm and welcoming.

“I think everyone looks at them like, Ambani family, wow, gold. But there were real moments that stood out like Nita Ma’am performing on-stage,” Khan added.

“I think the most memorable moment for me was when I saw Anant and Radhika signing the hastakshar paper and looking at each other with love.”

“It was definitely a lot of fun that was why I am telling you about a specific moment, because it is the most human moment. Everybody looked at it as this extraordinary thing, reviewing what every actor is wearing, “ Sara elaborated.

The actress went on, “Oh god everyone is performing’, but there were these real moments when Nita Ma’am did her Bharatnatyam performance for Anant, where she didn’t miss a single beat and she had so much grace, but she also had so much Mamta in her eyes during the performance. It’s moments like that which stand out.”
