Pakistan and England are set to clash in the second T20 International match of the four-game series being played in Birmingham today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The action-packed second T20 match will start at 6:30 pm Pakistan Standard Time.

Both teams will look to finally get some valuable match practice heading into next month's T20 World Cup 2024 when the 2022 finalists clash at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham.

The series opener between Jos Buttler's England and Babar Azam's Pakistan at the Headingley ended in disappointment for both the fans and the two teams' players after the game was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to persistent rain in Leeds.

According to AccuWeather, the forecast for May 25 in Birmingham looks slightly promising as there is prediction for day without rain despite cloudy conditions with maximum temperate at 19° C during the start of the match at 2:30 PM Local Time.

There is 25 percent chance for precipitation on Saturday (May 25) around the Edgbaston Cricket Ground. The sky is set to remain partly cloudy, but there is chance of play without interruption, as per AccuWeather.

BBC, however, predicts that there is 17 percent chance of showers. But a huge interruption or washout is unlikely at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. The MET office also forecasts 30 percent chance for rain. So, there may be slight interruption.

The first match, slated for Leeds, was abandoned due to rain, leaving both teams eager to establish a lead in the series in the Birmingham clash.

England is expected to field a formidable line-up, with likely appearances from Jofra Archer, Will Jacks, Jos Buttler, and Phil Salt in the limelight to give Pakistan a tough time at home ground while Mark Wood could be included in the bowling line-up, supported by spinner Tom Hartley.

Pakistan, after winning series against Ireland, have made adjustments to their squad as Hasan Ali will not be available, while Mohammed Amir and Shaheen Afridi are set to lead the pace attack.

Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim are expected to handle the spin duties. Azam Khan is likely to be included, and Fakhar Zaman may bat at number four, with Babar and Saim Ayub opening the innings.
