Legendary Pakistan power-hitter Shahid Afridi has congratulated the Afghanistan team for storming into the T20 World Cup 2024's semifinals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Sharing the post on his social media handle X, Pakistan cricket icon Shahid Khan Afridi wrote “Truly historic performance by Afghanistan. Congratulations to the entire team and great leadership by Rashid Khan and match-winning spell by Naveen. They have shown to the world what a team can achieve with dedication, passion, and whole-hearted spirit. My best wishes for the semi-final.”
