Coach submits report to PCB chief on team’s performance in T20 World Cup

Head coach Gary Kirsten submitted his report to Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi regarding poor performance of Pakistan team in ICC T20 World Cup, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

In this regard sources said that Gary Kirsten sent the report to Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Sources further said that Senior Manager Wahab Riaz has already submitted his report a few days ago.

Sources said that Chairman Mohsin Naqvi is reviewing the Gary Kirsten’s report.

In the light of reports, Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will also consult with board officials and former cricketers, sources said.

Decisions regarding the future will be taken after the consultation is completed, sources further said.

Sources said that Gary Kirsten explained the reasons for poor performance in detail.

Gary Kirsten has written extensively on player discipline, player intent and awareness of the game and made suggestions to improve the team, the sources said.

Sources said that Gary Kirsten has also raised questions over the players' fitness.

The report incorporates the same points he made in his speech at the end of the World Cup, sources concluded.
