U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome called on Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar at his office on Friday.

In the meeting, a wide range of bilateral issues including security and economic cooperation came under discussion, a Foreign Office statement said.

Ambassador Blome briefed the deputy prime minister about recent visits from the U.S. side.

The Deputy PM and the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the current trajectory of bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen these ties in future.
