Karachi Matric Board's former controller exams suspended for increasing students' marks

Former Examination Controller of the Karachi Matric Board Imran Tariq has been suspended for allegedly increasing the marks of 93 students in the 2023 matriculation exams.
Imran Tariq who was serving as the Deputy Secretary at the Matric Board is accused of this malpractice of increasing the marks of some matric students illegally.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, an inquiry committee has been established to investigate the matter.
The formation of the committee was recommended by the Department of Boards and Universities.
Imran Tariq was given additional responsibility during the preparation of the Matric Science results in 2023.
