Etihad Airways (EY) has signed reciprocal interline partnerships with five airline partners, expanding global travel options for passengers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Abu Dhabi-based (AUH) airline has signed partnerships with Kam Air (RQ) in Afghanistan, SKY Express (GQ) in Greece, Rex Airlines (ZL) in Australia, Jeju Air (7C) in Korea, and Myanmar Airways International (8M).

These new interline agreements provide passengers with enhanced connectivity to destinations across each other’s route networks, enabling travelers to book their entire journey on a single ticket and have their baggage checked to their final destination.

Arik De, Etihad’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, said, “We continue to broaden our network reach, enabling seamless connection across our network, giving our guests a broader range of travel options. These five interline agreements make life easier for guests of all the airlines involved.”
Etihad now has 123 interline, codeshare, and strategic partnerships with airlines worldwide, which offer its passengers a range of new options.

From Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH), travelers can now connect with RQ’s flights to Kabul (KBL) in Afghanistan. Passengers on EY’s double daily flights to Athens (ATH), can also connect to GQ’s services to 28 destinations in Greece.

In addition, ZL provides travelers with convenient access from EY’s gateways in Sydney (SYD) and Melbourne (MEL) to 22 destinations in Australia, including Adelaide (ADL), Hobart (HBA), Canberra (CBR), Brisbane (BNE), and the Gold Coast (OOL).

With 7C, passengers can continue from Seoul (SEL) to 27 destinations across seven Northeast Asian countries. Connectivity with 8M will enable seamless access to Yangon (RGN) and Mandalay (MDL) via EY’s gateways in South Asia.
