Gujranwala police Thursday arrested Pakistan TYehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) woman leader Aliya Hamza after her release from Sargodha Jail in the May 9 riots case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Gujranwala police claimed that the PTI leader’s arrest was required for interrogation in the May 9 riots cases.

Police said Aliya will be interrogated in the case registered at Cantt police station in Gujranwala.

Yesterday, Gujranwala police arrested another PTI woman leader Sanam Javed after her release from Sargodha Jail.
