In order to reward competent and hardworking students of the province, the Punjab government has decided to launch ‘Punjab Chief Minister International Scholarship Programme’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

According to the concerned officials, Rs26 billion will be spent on the programme under which scholarships will be announced for the students interested in doing masters and PhDs from the world’s top universities.

They have informed that the programme will formally begin in the next financial year (FY) for which Rs5 billion will be earmarked in the budget for the next FY.
