Court okays Imran Khan’s plea for medical check-up

An accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Wednesday approved the application filed by former prime minister and ex-PTI chairman Imran Khan for his medical check-up, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Hearing of Al-Qadir Trust case adjourned

Earlier, the court adjourned the hearing of 190 million pounds case against the former prime minister and his wife Bushra Bibi until May 13.

Judge Nasir Javed Rana heard the reference at a courtroom set up at Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.

Both Imran and Bushra and their lawyers Salman Safdar and Zaheer Abbas were present on the occasion.

NAB deputy prosecutor general appeared in the court along with his team.

The statement of one more witness in the case was recorded while the lawyers completed the cross-questioning of another witness.

The judge said statements of more witnesses would be recorded at the next hearing, while lawyers for the defendants would cross-question them.
