There is hardly anyone in the fashion industry who can compete with Uorfi Javed in terms of her sartorial picks as they are very unique, controversial, and ‘risky’ sometimes: however, lately, the star’s sharp fashion picks have way to Hollywood witnessed somewhat during the delightful fashion event known as ‘Met Gala’ which held on the first Monday of May to raise funds for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan, New York, USA.

Herein, the celebs appear at their fashionable best as per the theme, and this year it was 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion'.

Although Uorfi was not a part of the gala, her fashion footprints, outfits of the day (OOTD) were found on the red carpet. Many Hollywood biggies were seen in somewhat similar outfits, which Uorfi has already worn on various occasions. Uorfi is infamous for creating nude dresses. A few days back, she handmade a transparent floral dress with pink, purple, yellow, and white flowers attached to nude undies. For the Met this season, Nicki opted for a similar floral dress. Her dress was a structured golden corset frock-like dress with a multi-hued floral arrangement all over.

Cardi B and Uorfi Javed’s similar high-fashion gowns

Cardi B is a renowned artist in the West who is also known for her bold sartorial picks. Cardi slipped into a black-hued layered gown for the gala with meters-long cloth attached to it. She paired the dress with diamond and emerald jewellery and wore black headgear. As for Uorfi, the Indian fashion icon donned a royal blue-toned layered gown in the same fashion but wore it way before Cardi’s Windowsen creation.

Lana Del Rey, the renowned Hollywood singer, never fails to captivate her fans with her unique fashion sense. At the Met Gala 2024, she turned heads with her beige-hued hourglass gown, adorned with black wine detailing and a structured vein that created a mesmerizing spider web illusion. This was a distinct departure from her usual style, and it was a look that only Lana could pull off. Uorfi had previously sported a similar black-tone veil dress paired with a crop top and trousers.

The internet is buzzing at the moment as Amelia Gray has donned a very similar terrarium dress to Uorfi Javed’s solar system dress. Amelia’s yellow-hued light-up terrarium dress with purple-floral garden. The yellow-hued dress gave perfect fittings to Amelia and also featured an off-shoulder neckline. She teamed her dress with a pair of golden-coloured heels. Uorfi, a few days back, wore a similar black-hued outfit, but her dress featured the solar system.
