Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday said that the events of May 9 were orchestrated to impede Pakistan's progress and weaken its security, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference on the eve of the first anniversary of the May 9 events, Attaullah Tarar condemned what he described as a "nefarious design" to undermine the stability and honor of Pakistan.

He vowed to expose the faces behind these nefarious acts.

He issued a stern caution against any political party attempting to infringe upon national integrity, asserting that the selfish motives of a few would not be permitted to inflict damage upon the country's welfare.

The information minister emphasized that Pakistan's armed forces are among the best in the world, citing the downing of two Indian planes as a testament to their bravery and capabilities.

Tarar reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty and standing firm against any attempts to undermine its security.

He urged unity and solidarity among all citizens in the face of external threats and internal conspiracies.
