Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori on Saturday attended an iftar dinner hosted by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Appreciating the services of the doctors, he said doctors protect our health like the army protects the borders of our country.
The governor said that the College of Physicians and Surgeons is providing highly qualified doctors. “Many doctors who have graduated from the institute are bringing a good name to the country while serving abroad. Kamran Khan Tessori said that they play the role of a messiah in our society.
He asserted that there is a dire need for doctors in remote areas of the country. “Along with education, there is a need to pay attention to research.”
On the occasion, CPSP office holders including Dr Asim, Dr Khalid Gondal, Prof. Mohammad Shoaib Shafi, Dr Aisha Siddiqa, Dr Muhammad Masroor and others were present on the occasion.
