Irfan Khokhar demands govt to provide tax-free LPG

The Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Industries Association of Pakistan (LPGIA) Chairman Irfan Khokhar demanded the government provide tax-free gas to the industrialists.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the LPGIA chairman in a tweet on Thursday demanded the abolition of tax worth billions of rupees on LPG.
LPGIA Chairman Irfan Khokhar said in the tweet that the country is facing the worst gas shortage this year but LPG price has been increased by Rs12 per kilogram.
Irfan Khokhar has said that on one hand, the government is giving billions of rupees in subsidy on imported LNG and has imposed heavy taxes on LPG.
