NA committee formed to amend constitution for establishing new provinces

The issue of the establishment of new provinces in the country once again surfaced as the National Assembly speaker formed a special committee for the constitutional amendments.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the NA Speaker has appointed Federal Minister Khurshid Shah as the Chairman of the Special Committee for the establishment of new provinces and constitutional amendments.
Members of the National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Khalid Magsi, and Naveed Jiva have also been included in the Special Committee for the establishment of new provinces in the country.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) defectors Ramesh Kumar, Nizhat Pathan, and MNA Sabir Hussain are among the committee members.
According to the Terms of References (TORs), the Special Committee will examine the bill amending Articles 25B, 51, 63B, 92, and 106 of the Constitution.
The Special Committee will submit a report within 30 days regarding the amendments to the constitution and the establishment of new provinces.
