School Edu announces 14,000 teachers' promotion on CM Naqvi's instructions

On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, the School Education Department announced the promotion of more than 14,000 teachers on Wednesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a thanksgiving ceremony for the formal announcement of the promotion of teachers was organized by the Punjab Association of Subject Specialists in Model Town.
Provincial Education Minister Mansoor Qadir, Secretary Schools Education Maqbool Ahmed Dhaula, Punjab Association of Subject Specialists (PASS) Chairman Rana Ata Muhammad and President Ashfaq Gujjar, Punjab DPI Secondary Mushtaq Syal, Director Elementary Education Chaudhry Amin, Consultant United Nation Dr Idrees Rana, Malik Ehsan, Bashir Zahid Guriah, Additional Secretary Syed Tauseef Shah, Chaudhry Zafar, Asim Cheema, Syed Farqan Shah and Farrukh Shehbaz Waraich specially participated in the ceremony.
PASS President Ashfaq Gujjar representing the teachers welcomed the Punjab Chief Minister's decision to promote 14 thousand teachers.
While PASS Chairman Rana Ata Muhammad said a big issue of teachers has been solved as thousands of subject specialists across Punjab were waiting for promotions for a long time.
