The rift grows to the extent of change in geographies where the truth-tellers lose and the liars supersede your logic.
Remember! Truth tellers win even when they lose and deceivers lose after winning.
The Pakistani nation, today, looks shocked and confused in the battle between truth and lies. Everyone wants to speak and hear the truth but the ultimate victory must be the truth that is so bitter. For now, the main reason behind the chaos and uncertainty is that most of the political players are not telling the whole truth.
It is very difficult to bring out the whole truth in today's Pakistan. Sometimes political compulsions get in the way and sometimes the fate of Arshad Sharif comes to haunt. Our Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has claimed that a month ago, Imran Khan sent a businessman to him and said that he would negotiate on two issues. The first is that they appoint a new army chief in joint consultation and the second is that they discuss the date of the new elections.
Shehbaz Sharif refused to discuss these two issues and offered to discuss the charter of democracy and the charter pact of economy, and thus the matter could not be taken up. Shehbaz Sharif did not tell that he had decided to dissolve the National Assembly five months ago as a result of negotiations with Tehreek-e-Insaf, but why did he suddenly back out of this decision? Yes! I am least bothered about denials by Shehbaz Sharif and Imran Khan. Today, both of them are calling each other thieves and looters, but in the third week of May, their backdoor negotiations entered a decisive phase. Don't forget that before that Imran Khan also contacted Asif Zardari through a businessman and tried to break him but to no avail.
The biggest difficulty for the Muslim League-Nawaz was its allies. Other allies including the People's Party and JUI-F did not agree to new elections, but despite this, Muslim League-N agreed to dissolve the National Assembly.
Negotiations with the IMF were also going on during those days, so due to these negotiations, the announcement of the dissolution of the National Assembly was delayed. But on the day when the new elections were to be announced, Imran Khan took a long march towards Islamabad on May 25. Announced. Imran Khan believed that the announcement of the election date would be seen as a consequence of his threat of a long march and would give him a great political advantage. After the Long March was announced, Shehbaz Sharif refused to dissolve the National Assembly and thwarted Imran Khan's Long March by using excessive force.
Imran Khan after this failure became an "Angry Man" and started comparing the military leadership with Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq because Mir Syed Jafar Ali Khan Najafi was actually the army chief of Nawab Siraj-ud-Daulah who defeated the British. He had defeated his own army with collusion.
Khan Sahib used to blame the Army Chief as a traitor during daytime meetings while trying to meet the COAS in the darkness of night. They started sending messengers to the Prime Minister whom they used to call "cherry blossom". He thought that he had become so popular that no state agency would dare say no to him, but he missed that he had at least three prime ministerial candidates around him – in his own circles. There is a glimpse. In February 2021, General Qamar Javed Bajwa met then-PM Imran Khan and told him about a mess within his party and that he should address the grievances of his MNAs.
If the intention of the army chief was disguising, why would he inform Imran Khan? Those were the days when members of Imran Khan's cabinet used to visit the army chief on pretexts and complain about their prime minister. One day a delegation of seven ministers went to General Bajwa and complained about their PM. General Bajwa asked why they did not take up these with the PM. Ministers said that Khan does not listen to them. Hearing this, General Bajwa said to these ministers, "Come, then we all cry together." After that, things got worse day by day.
Imran Khan scolded General Bajwa on the issue of the transfer of ISI chief so much that one day the general decided to leave his post on his own and also informed the Prime Minister. When the Prime Minister came to know, he ordered the transfer of the ISI chief. After that, the then PM demanded the Army Chief and the new ISI chief that significant opposition figures should be put behind bars.
On COAS's refusal of this unconstitutional demand, Imran Khan decided to appoint a new army chief in April 2022. This news reached Asif Zardari and Shehbaz Sharif in February 2022 by disgruntled members of Tehreek-e-Insaf and thus the game of no-confidence started. To thwart this game, Imran Khan created a foreign conspiracy narrative which gained public acceptance due to the incompetence and ineptitude of his political opponents, but now the facts are coming out. Only ten per cent of the truth has come out.
Only if 50% truth is uncovered, the major politicians including Imran Khan, Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and Maulana Fazlur Rehman would land in trouble.
Imran Khan has initiated a new long march, demanding a new election date. Whenever new elections are held, it will be very difficult for Imran Khan to participate in them as many new cases are being made against him. The prime ministerial candidates in Imran Khan's party consider themselves very clever. If the whole truth comes out, nobody's cleverness will work. These clever people should be afraid of the time when they will cry together with Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari, but at that time the Pakistani nation will be smiling.
