Government increases prices of petroleum products

The government has increased the prices of petroleum products, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.

The price of petrol is increased by Rs2.07 per litre while the cost of high-speed diesel is surged by Rs2.99 per litre and light speed diesel by Rs9.79 per litre.

The government has raised the price of kerosene oil by Rs10.92 per litre.

As per the notification issued by the finance division, for the first half of September, the price of petrol will be Rs235.98 per litre, while the cost of high-speed diesel will be Rs247.43 per litre and light-speed diesel 201.54 per litre.

The new price of kerosene oil is Rs210.32 per litre, stated the notification.
