Police seize large number of pistols in Islamabad

Islamabad police have foiled a bid to smuggle a huge quantity of weapons and arrested two culprits during an operation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Westridge police were informed that a huge cache of arms was being shifted in a private vehicle by smugglers.
A police party set up a special picket point and ordered the suspected van to stop. After a thorough search, the police recovered 35 pistols and thousands of bullet rounds from the possession of the two smugglers.
The accused were identified as Bahadur Khan and Rashid Shah. Police registered the case against the accused and started further investigation.
