Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Monday launched a special package for Pakistani and other Muslim pilgrims traveling from China to offer Umrah in Saudi Arabia.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the package will provide connecting flights from Islamabad to Saudi Arabia and back for pilgrims flying on PIA from Beijing and Chengdu.

Pakistani travelers, on the other hand, might spend more than a week in Pakistan before returning to China.

PIA currently operates weekly passenger flights on Sunday between Islamabad and Beijing, and on Wednesday between Islamabad and Chengdu.
