Equating the incumbent government of PTI with that of Musharraf’s autocracy, PML-N leader Pervaiz Rashid lambasted the government for “what he called” use of pressure tactics to stifle criticism.
While alluding to the regular absence of the premier from the Parliament sessions, he said that “the rulers should respond if they are alive.”
“This government has no stomach to digest criticism as it has been involved in the economic murder of the media houses,” said the PML-N leader, adding that the government has been avoiding to take responsibility and instead putting every blame on the previous governments.
About Trump’s repeatedly mediation offer to settle Kashmir, Pervaiz Rashid said “The rulers are in delusions about seeking Trump’s support. I’m telling you he’ll barter gold with bronze while taking away the gold.”
About economic performance of the government, the PML-N leader regretted that despite decrease in oil prices in the international market, the PTI government has failed to pass the relief to the masses.
“When will the government tell us that it is distributing laptops, or extending motorways,” he posed a question. The rulers are making themselves questionable by keeping from the Parliament the details of the taxes collected from the people of the country.
Pervaiz Rashid termed the incumbent government curse for Pakistan. “They have nothing more important to do than to keep an eye on the ailing Nawaz Sharif,” he added.
