Baloch Culture day celebrated 

Many political and social leaders Thursday celebrated the festivities of Baloch Culture day in many major cities of Balochistan with full swing, reported 24News HD TV channel.

The event was festooned by many renowned Balochi singers who sang songs praising the army, in the memory of the martyrs and folk songs as well. American and German Consul Generals Nicole Theriot and Rudiger Lotz also participated in the event at Jaffarabad in Karachi donning traditional Balochi dresses.

The youth highlighted the Balochi culture by wearing the traditional Dastar vests and performed many vibrant activities including the cultural dance, folk singing and many others.

Pakistan People’s Party leader Mir Hassan Khan Jamali while addressing the crowd said that the Baloch culture is a proof of peace, love and unity. Celebration and highlighting the culture shows the respect and love we have for it and it will propagate in our young generations. Everyone living in Balochistan is Baloch and our customs and traditions are similar to each other. Celebrating culture is a sign of living nations.

The public said that culture is the symbol of the identity of any nation. The purpose of celebrating this day is to enlighten the Baloch culture and give the world a message of peace and love. Thousands of years old Baloch culture is still alive in our hearts today and we are exhibiting unity, friendship and solidarity today.
