The district administration of Hafizabad sealed the city’s bus stand on Friday when the transporters refused to lend their buses for taking the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) workers and supporters to Gujrat for the party’s public gathering to be held in the city later in the evening, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The closure of the stand left the passengers in a quandary who then started figuring out as to how they could reach their destinations when they had been left without a transport.
Drivers, on the other hand, said they were still awaiting the payment of fare by the PTI for the party’s rally held in Sargodha yesterday (Thursday, September 1, 2022), while the RTA secretary, when approached, refused to comment on the matter.
