Rescuer among five die in Swabi on second Eid day

A rescuer and another four people died in different incidents on the second day of Eidul Azha in Swabi on Sunday.

Reportedly 193 people, mostly motorcyclists, were taken to Swabi Tehsil Headquarters Hospital where three of them declared brought-in-dead.

The Rescue 1122 official drowned into the Indus River at Hund area. The deceased was a resident of Peshawar and he was picnicking with his family when the tragedy took place.

In a similar incident, Ameenullah from Chota Lahore area of Swabi drowned in the Indus River. The bodies were handover to relatives of victims.
