The registration process for the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL)- 10 is in full swing, attracting top cricketing talent from around the globe, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

 Among the latest to sign up is South Africa's prolific top-order batter, Rassie van der Dussen who has officially joined for the player draft of the league’s highly-anticipated 10th edition.

This announcement was made on the league’s social media platforms. 

Van der Dussen has already made an impact in the PSL, representing Islamabad United in 2023 and Lahore Qalandars in 2024, where he scored 512 runs in 13 innings at an average of 46.54 and an outstanding strike rate of 145.86. His performances include one century and three fifties.

At 35 years of age, van der Dussen has established himself as a vital player in South Africa’s white-ball squads, boasting an impressive international career. He has represented the Proteas in 18 Tests, 68 ODIs, and 50 T20Is, amassing a total of 4,626 runs, including six centuries and 29 half-centuries across formats.

Prominent players who have already registered include England’s Alex Hales, Usman Khawaja, Tom Curran, David Willey, Dawid Malan, and Jason Roy. 

Representing Bangladesh, veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and pacer Mustafizur Rahman have also confirmed their participation.

 Additionally, Zimbabwean all-rounder Sikandar Raza has added to the diversity of the star-studded lineup.

In a historic first for the league, the PSL 10 Player Draft will take place in Balochistan, with Gwadar set to host the event on January 11, 2025.
