PM Imran comes to help of slum dwellers in Islamabad

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday directed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to take immediate steps for the facilitation of poor slum dwellers in the surroundings of the Red Zone of Islamabad.
He gave the directions on the suggestion of a citizen on the Pakistan Citizens Portal.
Prime Minister Imran Khan directed that transport be provided to the women, elderly and other persons carrying wood on their shoulders. The transport facility will be provided to these slum dwellers free of cost, he added.
On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the CDA has started providing transport service to them under which the women, children and the elderly persons will have access to Muslim Colony.
As desired by the Honorable PM of Pak & on directions of the Chairman CDA, poor & elderly ladies, children & men who collect fallen dry branches as firewood r being provided transport facility by Envt Dte, CDA. Earlier, these ladies use to carry these bushes on their back.
