KEMU’s College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences gets country’s first Dispensing Optional Lab

Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University Prof Dr Mahmood Ayyaz along with Prof Zahid Kamal Siddiqui Principal COAVS-KEMU inaugurated the first of its kind Dispensing Optional Lab in the whole country at the College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences.

The lab is established with the support of Sightsavers (INGO).

Prof. Haroon Hamid, Chief Executive Officer Mayo Hospital Dr Ahmad Nadeem, Secretary Punjab Medical Faculty, Prof. Intizar Butt, Head of unit-1 , Dr. Ali Ayaz and Dr. Nasir Chaudhry were also present on the occasion.

Principal COAVS-KEMU thanked Sightsavers for its contribution towards building quality opticianary laboratory and teaching programme.

The VC appreciated COAVS team on this occasion.
