Explosives found near PTI-supported candidate’s rally in Bannu

Explosive material was found near a rally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supported candidates in the limits of Khadri Momandkhel of Cantt police station in Bannu on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, explosives were planted on the side of the road near public meeting venue of PTI candidates – ex-provincial minister Malik Shah Muhammad Khan and Maulana Naseem Ali Shah.
People of the area promptly informed the police who called in the bomb disposal squak personnel who defused the explosives.
The meeting was supposed to be held at 9 am, but it was cancelled due to rain.
Two weeks ago, all kinds of political activities and programs were banned in the area by the Zargul alias Uncle group with a warning that violators will get severe punishment.
