Although the government has changed police uniform, it has failed to bring change to the torture culture. In a fresh incident on Monday, Gujranwala police brutally beat a fasting youth over a facemask issue in Hajipura Bazaar, 24NewsHD reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the Kotwali police started beating the youth after an altercation with over facemask.

Some people tried to rescue the youngster but to no avail. The cops kept beating the young civilian all the way to the police station.

The local people strongly condemned the police action and appealed to the high-ups to take notice of the incident.
