Passengers have been landed in trouble because of an extraordinary rush at Jeddah Airport, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
The PIA administration ‘sprang into action' to extend help to the Pakistani pilgrims and a spokesperson for the national airline said the officials in Jeddah are in contact with Saudi officials.
Aviation Minister Kh Saad Rafique is supervising the situation, the spokesman said, adding that special directives have been issued to provide all-out help to the passengers.
