DG ISI attends funeral prayers for martyred CTD officers

The funeral prayers of two Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officers, who embraced martyrdom near Khanewal in a terror attack, were offered in Multan, Khanewal, and Lahore Wednesday.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, two officers of the CTD were shot dead by terrorists in the parking space of a hotel near Pirowal, Khanewal district on Tuesday.
Inter-Services Intelligence Director General Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Lahore Corps Commander Lt Gen Salman Fayyaz Ghani, Punjab Inspector General of Police Aamir Zulfiqar, and other military and civil officials attended the funeral prayers of Director Naveed Sadiq, recipient of Sitara-e-Shujaat, and Inspector Nasir Abbas in Lahore.
A large number of people representing all walks of life attended the funeral of the martyred.
