January 4, 2023 12:06 PM
Pakistani TV actress and host Nadia Jamil took to her Instagram and shared a beautiful reel of 2022 in which she was looking radiant and glowing after a makeover.
As she was ringing in the New Year, She posted the picture with a gratitude post and revisited the days when she was undergoing cancer treatment.
This is what she wrote:
“Goodbye 2022. Hello 2023 :)
Because I am alive, anything is possible.”
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

This is me saying goodbye to the last few years and thanking those who helped me get through them.
My mother, brothers, sister, cousins, the NHS staff, my neighbours in Cambridge, my NLP tribe, my Art of Living tribe, The Global Collaborative of CSA survivors, my children, my dog, and me myself.
But most of all thank you to the Divine energy that fills me with hope, love, resilience, keeps my inner child full of awe, and ready to trust, connect, play and live again.
Hello 2023. I embrace your light and potential with all my heart.
My prayer for everyone is health, healing, happiness, laughing out loud, letting go of what you have to, holding close all that is good, with gratitude. I pray for adventures, travel, friendships and new beginnings. I pray for closure & peace. I pray for the choice and freedom that comes with success and I pray for all of us committing to working hard to save our planet & fighting child abuse. I pray for all our children and every child and innocent animal on the planet to be protected and be free to thrive. I pray for peace and hope. I pray to be of service. And I belong to you.”
Thank you for being there for me. Thank you for your beautiful hearts!
Shukar Alhamdolillah
Naya Saal Mubarak!
