IG Punjab orders to link all hotels, inns to police software ‘Hotel Eye’

Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan has directed to connect all the hotels, and inns in all major cities, including Lahore to the software used by police the “Hotel Eye”.

The IG Punjab chaired an important meeting of Punjab Police on IT reforms at Central Police Office on Monday and ordered the process of checking vehicles and passengers through E-police post software should be made more effective.

He ordered the compilation of digital records of crimes related to old enmities and capacity building should be done for modern policing of staff in police stations and police offices.

IG Punjab Sardar said the E-services of Punjab Police should be further facilitated so that the common man can benefit from it to the maximum.

During the meeting, DIG IT Ahsan Younis briefed IG Punjab about the IT projects being used by the police and their upgradation.

Additional IG Training, Additional IG Operations, DIG IT, DIG Headquarters and other officers were also present in the meeting.
