Lahore police nab hotel worker for theft from Sikh yatrees

A group of Malaysian Sikh yatrees (pilgrims) staying at a private hotel near Liberty Market, Lahore, fell victim to a theft, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday. 

According to the channel report, the women pilgrims left their hotel for breakfast on Monday when a hotel employee used a master key to enter their room and steal INR 10,000 and 400 Malaysian Ringgit.

Gulberg Police swiftly acted and arrested the suspect from his residence behind Liberty Market. 

The stolen local and foreign currency was recovered, and a case has been registered.

SP Model Town, Akhlaq Ullah Tarar, praised the quick response of the police in solving the case.
