ECP announces new schedule for Islamabad LG polls

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday rescheduled the date for the local government election in Islamabad announcing that the polls will now be held on 31st December in the federal capital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The ECP has issued a notification in which the date of local body election in Islamabad has been changed. 

The election was originally scheduled to be held on December 24, however, the polls now have been pushed to 31st December.
