Pakistan Muslim League (PML) central leader Moonis Elahi has said he has no link with the management of Rahim Yar Khan Sugar Mills.

Welcoming findings of an investigation into the recent sugar crisis in the country, Moonis, who is also a member of the National Assembly, said he had indirect share in the sugar mills. According to the report, he said, the share of Rahim Yar Khan Sugar Mills in exports was just 3.14 percent. He said he was hopeful that people would report the facts responsibly.

An investigation into the recent sugar crisis has revealed that people close to Prime Minister Imran Khan and those from some influential political families were behind the sugar crisis.
