Maya Jama too good for Leonardo DiCaprio?

LONG ago, I was involved in a “What makes a woman sexy?” conversation.
My eyes glazed over as various blokes gave clichéd opinions about the shape and size of boobs, bums and legs.
But then one said something I’ll always remember: “She smiles a lot . . . and would order a cheese-burger on room service.”
I have, happily, tried to live my life by these two simple rules of sexy.
And looking at the constantly smiling, burger-advertising beauty Maya Jama, she is most definitely nailing it.
The radiant smile, natural curves and being the face of the McDonald’s McCrispy makes her the best date in town.
So it comes as no surprise that we revealed Maya, 28, is linked to a member of the ultimate Hollywood elite, Leonardo DiCaprio.
The perpetual bachelor seems to have bagged our girl, with the pair having a string of dates in London and New York.
But while many might think that the Love Island presenter is punching up with an Oscar winner, who is one of the planet’s biggest movie stars, I feel there’s only one champion here.
And it isn’t the slightly creepy 48-year-old who has broken his queasy 25-year-old age limit to date Maya.
The Peter Pan Syndrome sufferer recently split from his latest model girlfriend Camila Morrone when she hit the big two five and has had a revolving door of models as exes, including Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli and Gigi Hadid.
Let’s face it, the flawless beauty — who quickly became the only reason to watch this year’s Love Island — has yet to find a man good enough to lock her down.
She’s the ultimate heartbreaker, with her ex-boyfriend, grime artist Stormzy, reflecting on the feelings caused by the break-up with her as “the biggest loss a man can have.”
Speaking in January, single gal Maya revealed: “I don’t have a type on paper, if you look at my exes, they’re all quite different.
“If I like someone, I’m not gonna hide my feelings.”
And nor should she.
Maya doesn’t hide her feelings about sex, either.
On comedy panel show Celebrity Juice she revealed her favourite sex position was “a 69”.
In a game where Emily Atack and Joe Swash had to guess what sex word the others were re-enacting — while they jumped on a trampoline — Maya quickly said it was a “69” and added “I love a 69!”
On the same show she also blurted out her love of porn, cheekily revealing: “I went to a lot of gymnasiums and I saw a lot of porn! I usually go to orgasm editing, but that’s another day’s story.”
The Leo dates are a slam dunk for Maya after calling off her engagement to Aussie NBA basketball player Ben Simmons, 26, last year.
Their seemingly amicable break-up took a turn for the worse in January after Ben asked for her dazzling, $1million (£800,000) engagement ring back.
The former Radio 1 star’s reps told The Sun: “Maya received a request from Ben’s representatives on Friday afternoon, asking her to return the engagement ring that he gave her as a gift last year.
“This was the first time she has been asked by Ben to return it and, for the avoidance of any doubt, she has never refused to return it.”
Before that romance, Bristol-born Maya had been in a four-year relationship with Stormzy that ended in 2019.
Losing Maya — who during their relationship tweeted him at 3am: ‘2 double cheeseburgers and 9 nuggets with dips thanks, love you’ — clearly has a huge impact on Stormzy, 29, who opened up about the split to Louis Theroux last year.
He said: “My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man.
“It was like, ‘OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you’.
“That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have.
“The whole f***ing palaver that surrounded that situation, do you know what I mean?
“There were other things in terms of mistakes I’d made.
“I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate love and care for his woman.”
Maya has meanwhile seen her profile rise to dizzying heights after she was named the new host of Love Island following the departure of Laura Whitmore.
Her professional wins continued when she received ample praise for her presenting style and incredible outfits.
It’s the fulfilment of the ambitions she has held since an early age.
She shared in an interview five years ago: “I wanted to be on television, I didn’t quite know how, but I’d tell everyone at school.
“I would film myself doing pranks and put them on YouTube.
“I had this absolute belief that acting or presenting would be my future.
“I convinced myself and everyone around me because I was such a loud, chatty kid.
“I don’t think there is anything wrong with dreaming big.”
In January, Maya, who is worth around £2million, landed the coveted role as the face of Rimmel cosmetics, replacing Kate Moss.
But while there could be a bevy of beauty products to make Maya’s skin glow and hair glossy, the down-to-earth star puts her natural good looks down to cold water and her mum’s routine, which involves rubbing warm olive oil on to her barnet overnight, then washing it out in the morning.
And she told British Vogue magazine of her skincare routine: “I saw it on social media. This girl put her face in a big bucket of ice.
“I don’t do it with ice, I just run the tap for ages and then splash.
“It wakes me up and closes my pores.”
And as well as being a hit with A-list men, she’s clearly also an excellent friend, ensuring they spice up their sex lives.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan mag, Maya shared: “I keep buying my friends dildos.
“I don’t know if that’s silly, but a lot of my friends hadn’t ever used a dildo before and they’re, like, 25 plus, and I’m like, ‘Come on, it’s time!’
“So I’ve bought three of my friends them recently, like the dildo provider, because they were lonely and everyone should have a dildo I think.
“They’re really grateful, I think I’ve changed some of their lives.”
I’m sure you have, Maya.
But I’m not sure how preened Leo will cope with a burger-chomping, sex toy-loving Bristolian who smears her hair with olive every night.
But I have a feeling he might have got himself into a Jama.
