Motorways closed as fog blankets parts of Punjab, KP

Fog blanketed many parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), forcing the authorities to close different sections of motorways on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the motorways police, Motorway (M-2) was closed from Thokar Niaz Baig to Pindi Bhattian.

Motorway (M-11) was closed from Lahore Toll Plaza to Narowal.

Motorway (M-3) was closed from Faizpur to Darkhana.

Motorway was closed for traffic from Peshawar Toll Plaza to Swabi.

Citizens faced a great deal inconvenience due to the closure of motorways. The flow of traffic was also affected.

The motorways police advised the motorists to avoid unnecessary travel.
