In a recent Instagram video, Shami revealed that Neelam’s groom is Muhammad Rashid, a police officer in Dubai. Shami shared that their marriage is a love story and the wedding took place at a simple ceremony attended by close friends and family in Dubai. Rashid, who was seen in traditional Arabic attire during the event, works with the Dubai CID department.
While rummors had circulated that Neelam’s husband was a wealthy businessman, Shami clarified that Muhammad Rashid was not a billionaire but worked as a police officer. According to Shami, Rashid had been with the Dubai CID department for a few years and his monthly salary, depending on experience, was approximately 13,000 dirhams (roughly 1 million Pakistani rupees).
The couple’s wedding, which was kept private, took place in December 2024. However, the news and wedding photos only recently surfaced on social media, grabbing people’s attention. Despite the secrecy surrounding their union, the couple’s love marriage is now making waves online.
With her marriage to Rashid, Neelam is said to enjoy several perks, including shopping discounts in Dubai and health and child insurance. Yasir also mentioned that, under UAE law, prominent figures may be granted citizenship, which could be a possibility for Neelam in the future.
