Court sends Babar Ghauri on seven-day remand

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senior leader Babar Ghauri on Tuesday was produced before the anti-terrorism court in Karachi where the ATC sent him on seven-day remand to the police, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court also extended the remand of two other accused in the same cases.
The ATC also issued notices to the Sindh home secretary and IG.
The court also issued notices to the NAB and FIA for the August 15th hearing and sought all records of the cases.
The MQM senior leader was arrested by the police upon his return to Pakistan on Monday night.
Babar was taken into custody over his alleged involvement in corruption cases.
