Babar Azam visits Diamond Cricket Academy

Pakistan T20 captain and world’s no 1 Twenty20 batsman, Babar Azam visited Diamond Cricket Club Ground Islamabad.

Babar had a pep-talk with players of Diamond Cricket Academy, motivating them to never think of demoralization.

"Always be positive, and be in winning mood," Babar told DCA young lads, "You people are future stars of Pakistan."

Babar recalled how Islamabad Region and its President Shakil Shaikh provided him top domestic cricket platform. "I came to Islamabad, played highly competitive cricket on the best pitches in Pakistan, stayed at Diamond Ground's luxury room, spent three years here and now Allah-willing I am where people only dreamt for."

He advised DCA boys to utilise facilities properly at Diamond Academy and world would be yours in a few years.

"Diamond is the best venue and perfect cricketing environment if one wants to brighten his future as a professional cricketer," said Babar who was provided platform by erstwhile Islamabad Region at a time when his home region, Lahore, was ignoring them.
