Two localities sealed in Kandhkot as 14 test positive for coronavirus

Two neighbourhoods were sealed in Kandhkot town of Kashmore district after 14 people tested positive for the coronavirus, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Naseer Mohallah and Morro Mohallah have been cordoned off after the Kashmore deputy commissioner issued a notification in this regard.
Kashmore is the northernmost district of Sindh which borders both with Punjab and Balochistan.

The police, Rangers and army personnel have been deployed at all the entry points to execute the orders, as Deputy Commissioner Munawwar Ali Mathiani said the coronavirus had engulfed two localities. The local residents would be tested for the virus, he added.
There has been an exponential rise in the coronavirus cases in Sindh like other parts of the country because of the leniency shown in implementing the lockdown.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have been calling for strict lockdown and blasting Prime Minister Imran Khan for his statements against strict measures.
The number of coronavirus cases in Sindh have jumped to 7,882 with 137 deaths recorded so far.
