Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Thursday said Pakistan alone could not take a decision about making Gilgit-Baltistan a province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He called for ensuring that the people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan sit together so that they could make decision about the province.
Gilgit and Ladakh were administered under the same agency, reminded the AJK prime minister who stressed the Kashmiris should be given their rights through a plebiscite.
“There is no traitor in Kashmir. Stop this drama here,” said Raja Farooq who was addressing a ceremony in Rawalpindi held in connection with the renovation work at the mausoleum of famous Kashmiri leader Chaudhry Ghulam Abbas.

Raja Farooq said a strong and stable Pakistan was necessary for the independence of Kashmir. “Don’t talk like this, Modi too would be happy over this.”
As there are reports that the federal government wants to curb the powers of the state government, he also asked to stop interfering in Azad Kashmir.
“Today they recalled the sanctity of Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum,” Raja Farooq remarked. The statement came with reference to the slogan of “Vote ko Izzat Do” (respect the vote) raised by PML-N leader Capt Safdar and the events which followed including his arrest and the kidnapping of Sindh IG.
About the Indian atrocities, the AJK premier reminded the audience about the situation faced by the Kashmiri mothers and daughters in Occupied Kashmir. “What should the Kashmiris do? They made every sacrifice. They do not an atomic bomb to fire it.”
